I’m not going to translate any articles fully because frankly, there’s just way too many and differnt “versions” of their interviews. It’s pouring in today like there’s no tomorrow. No joke. Please take things with a grain of salt at the way reporters write their articles because they want to slant it a certain way. For example, I wrote in earlier post that when HoMin was asked about what they wanted to say to the trio, the article said Yunho said for them to just be healthy but Min said “nothing”. Well, there’s another article 10asiae which came out that shows that there was more said by Yunho and Min and it wasn’t so curt or anything bad. Again, it’s just matter of how the reporter wants to slant the interview. However, overall, the articles have pretty much similar interpretations in general. HoMin was very upfront about what they felt and I’m glad they didn’t really try to mince words because no matter what they say, they’re going to be bashed by antis anyway who try to twist everything.
However, here’s portions of summaries from various articles that I came across:
Regards to girlfriends: Yunho said he hasn’t had a girlfriend for 2years and 6 months (lol he remembers to the month) and even if he gets a girlfriend, he doesn’t want to date her openly. Changmin said he broke up with his girlfriend about 10 months ago and like Yunho, he doesn’t want to date openly either.
Yunho said that when he and Changmin are together, they hear that Changmin’s like a wife. Changmin’s lifestyle is different (than his) but their values match well. While arguing, they’ve gotten tighter/closer. (laughs) People (around them) think that Changmin’s like a wife because he points out this or that when he’s next to Yunho. (hehe sounds like Minnie’s a nagging wife)
Min said that he doesn’t want people to point out that he’s like a wife, so he doesn’t say anything these days (this kid just cracks me up) Their personalities are different so there’s been lots of contentious arguments and bad feelings (toward each other while arguing) and it was sort of like spouses fighting but understanding each other and respecting each other, they’ve gotten even closer.
Yunho said that after Music Bank performance, he was emotional because more fans came to show their support than he thought they would (this part broke my heart..as strong as he is, he has insecurities and I can’t help but wonder if the fans have hugely contributed to this insecurity). He said Lee Soo Man sent a message that it was DAEBAK and Yoo Young Jin came personally to see them and he got strength from SME family like BOA, Kangta, etc. who gave them support. He said that they went to see their juniors first to greet them and gave them their new album and later, each of the juniors came to see them and gave them their album and gave them encouraging words of support. He said it’s stimulating because there are lots of talented juniors and as the seniors, they’ll always do their best to show their good side/performance.
Regarding if there’s any resentment, Yunho said that he was hurt rather than there being resentment. He said he was hurt and as leader, he received even more pain but he said that he didn’t want to ask anyone to listen to his story because it didn’t seem like the adult thing to do. More than being resentful at someone else, he was more angry at himself and really hurt. He said there really wasn’t time to be resentful.
Thinking about the members, what they would want to say to them: Yunho said for the trio to comeback soon. He said everyone knows that their relationship was really good. However, right now, it’s not something that they (HoMin) can do anything about. Their relationship wasn’t about money. But there is distance now and trio has filed a lawsuit. He doesn’t want fans to become more confused. He wants them to show what it is they want. He said for them to be healthy. Changmin said that the time as 5 was beautiful, important, and fun and he doesn’t want the memories to get smeared/dirtied.
Regarding the boys contacting each other: Yunho said he’s heard about the news articles in which JYJ has said they tried to contact HoMin but Yunho said that’s not the case. He said JYJ never contacted him after they withdrew from the group and filed the lawsuit. He said actually, JYJ changed their phone numbers after they left (so it seems HoMin doesn’t know what their phone numbers are even at this time). Yunho also said he didn’t try to contact JYJ either. He said they (I’m assuming the trio)would know what the truth is.
HoMin really wants to protect DBSK. They don’t want it to be forgotten. They’ve kept quiet even though many things have happened because they didn’t want DBSK’s image to go down (further).
Yunho said he’s aware of people talking about them coming back as just 2 (with DBSK name) but he said they’ve waited for trio to return and they can’t wait forever. If they continue to wait indefinitely, DBSK will be forgotten. However, if they continue as DBSK, at least there will still be a place for the trio to return to someday if that’s possible.
Regards to Junsu’s twitter: Yunho said that it seems Junsu’s twit was directed at him though he can’t be certain since Junsu didn’t say it directly to him in person. (If Junsu was directing it towards Yunho) What Junsu said wasn’t correct but he can understand how Junsu might have felt that way and he would just let it go. But it seems that HoMin felt that for Junsu to use the word “enemy/adversary” towards people who he has worked with for so long and were like family was not the right way to express it.
They reiterated again that ‘Why’ is not a diss song directed at trio. It’s about a man’s feelings after his lover leaves him. Min said they really can’t do anything about how someone interprets the song (this is true because no matter how many times you say it isn’t, people will interpret it the way they want to). Yunho said DBSK’s songs have always been strong and if you look at other songs of theirs like triangle, if they sing it now, it could be considered a diss song too. (He’s right about this..if you pick a lot of DBSK’s songs and if they were to sing it now, people could claim that they’re all dissing JYJ)
This isn’t everything but at least you gals can kind of get an idea about what they’re feeling.
It seems from the articles, Yunho still has some lingering hope that everything work out with SME and JYJ but whether that happens it out of HoMin’s hands. They want to protect DBSK the group and name even if it means that they have to go as a duo. Their relationship with the trio is strained (to say the least) and they have had no contact with each other since lawsuit was filed. I think they feel really bad for the fans and others around them like other SME artists who has to go through this because of the SME/JYJ/HoMin problems. However, they’re doing what it is they need to do and that is moving forward the best they can to show that DBSK is not dead or is in the past.
