TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin, who recently declared their comeback for January 5th, have been featured on the cover of “Marie Claire.”
This special edition to be released in January, features a 10 page spread of the mature and chic transformation of the two singers, proving that the two are leaders in not only music and fashion, but in public culture as well.
TVXQ was said to have been chosen for the fashion magazine’s special opening of the 2011 new year for their global popularity. Fans will be able to purchase it starting December 19th.

Male duo band TVXQ [SM Entertainment]
Korean boy band TVXQ’s new single has received the most pre-orders in Japan, according to their agency SM Entertainment on Thursday.
SM revealed in press release today that TVXQ’s new album, set to go on sale in Japan on January 26, took first place on the daily and weekly pre-orders list of HMV Japan, a major online shopping and information sites for music, DVD, games and others goods.
The single has already been selected as the main theme song for upcoming Japanese drama “Beautiful Neighbors (美しい隣人 )” which will go on air on Fuji TV starting January 11.
The boys will also take part in the soundtrack for a drama in Korea as well — singing a song for SBS spy action-thriller “Athena” which is the spin-off to last year’s blockbuster TV series “IRIS.”
TVXQ, one the leading dance groups in K-pop scene since debuting in 2004, was formerly composed of five members Hero Jaejoong, Mickey Yuchun, Max Changmin and U-Know Yunho.
However, after disputing with agency SM over the unfairness of their 13-year exclusive contract, Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu halted their activities as TVXQ and instead formed trio JYJ.
TVXQ is now a duo group led by two remaining members Changmin and Yunho who are set to resume their activities in both Korea and Japan in January.

TVXQ’s UKnow YunHo and ChoiKang ChangMin will be making a comeback through the “SM Town Live In Tokyo” concert in January next year after their one year suspension of activities.
TVXQ will attend the “SM Town Live In Tokyo” concert on January 25th and 26th next year, together with other artists from SM Entertainment such as BoA, Girl’s Generation, Super Junior, SHINee and F(x). The “SM Town World Tour Live” covers a large region and began in Seoul in August 2010. It was also successfully held in Los Angeles and Shanghai.
The Japanese media are excited about TVXQ’s comeback. The “Sankei Sports” (T/N: A Japanese newspaper) claimed that, “It is a TVXQ comeback after one year and a month since they last performed in ‘CDTV Special!’, whereby on the 23rd of last month it was stated that TVXQ will be starting over with UKnow YunHo and ChoiKang Changmin”, and also that, “It will be the first time for them to show TVXQ with two members in front of the Japanese fans. Having received good comments from their SM Town concert back in August, they will absolutely get a warm welcome in Japan”.
This upcoming live tour will also feature TVXQ’s new song which will be released on January 26th next year.

TVXQ (Yunho, Changmin), who have announced previously that they will restart their activities next year, will release a new album on 5 January 2011. This was communicated by their management company, SM Entertainment, on the 13th.
TVXQ’s new album is their first release after a period of 2 years and 3 months since their release of [Mirotic] in end September 2008. It will be released in Korea on 5 January, followed by a new single in Japan on 26 January.
SM Entertainment said, “The new album covers a variety of genres that capitalizes on Yunho and Changmin’s singing skills and sensitivity, as well as their maturity. They added, “A teaser photo was released today (13th) where through the chic style, you can see the transformation of the 2 members and feel their charisma as well as the contemplative atmosphere.”
Last year, TVXQ went on a hiatus when their 3 members, Junsu, Jaejoong and Yoochun, raised the issue of their contract problems. Presently, Junsu, Jaejoong and Yoochun have formed [JYJ] and are doing their activities.
Previously, SM Entertainment also revealed this message on their homepage: “TVXQ will be back in 2011. For the sake of the continuation of [TVXQ], that we have created with great care, we have decided to continue with the formation of Yunho and Changmin.”

The two members declared their comeback through their official homepage on December 1st revealed transformed image today, giving fans a glimpse of their new style. The album is said to be containing a variety of genres that will allow fans to see how much the two members have matured vocally.
The album will drop in Korea on January 5th and will be followed by the release of a Japanese single version on the 26th.
